About
Riverside Kayak Company formed to help share the amazing kayaking Idaho rivers have to offer. We make it easy to travel to Idaho with just your paddling gear that is easy to fly on planes with like spray skirt, helmet, lifejacket, drysuit, paddle and we take care of the rest with kayaks, guides, and transportation waiting for you
We can pick up your group from the Boise airport with kayaks and transportation ready to take you to the river, making paddling Idaho seamless. If you are just looking to check off one of the classics like the Middle Fork Salmon or Jarbidge Bruneau or maybe setup a longer Idaho tour, we can make that happen. We can arrange a 12 day Idaho tour for example. Fly into Boise, paddle a few days on South Fork of the Payette, then head up to Stanley for a six-day Middle Fork Salmon, after taking off that trip near Salmon, head over to the Lochsa for few days of classic Idaho roadside whitewater. It can be an all inclusive trip, we provide the camping gear, kayaks, shuttle drivers, food, and keep the cold beer on hand!
Riverside is not licensed and permitted on all these sections, but work with outfitters who are, to provide trips on all these rivers. All the multi-day trips are run through Wilderness River Outfitters and Trail Expeditions a partner company. Other day trips like the Lochsa and South Fork Payette we work with local operators as well. If you want a guide, all on river time is with a licensed Idaho outfitter. If you just want camping gear and a driver and do all the on river stuff yourself, that is an option too.
We work with each group to plan a customized kayaking trip to meet the expectation and desires of your group. Let us know your vision for a paddling trip to Idaho and we can help make it a reality. We can be as limited as just providing a rental kayak for a private Middle Fork Salmon trip to planning an all inclusive two week Idaho kayaking tour. Riverside is the Idaho kayaking connection, CONTACT US and let us know how we can help you out on your next whitewater adventure to Idaho!
